The Birth of Knowledge. An educational journey across three continents
The Birth of Knowledge is a hybrid book: a work of fiction that conveys a scientific message. It presents research outcomes in fictionalised form. It invites readers on a journey into the worlds of school education and teaching in Hungary and other parts of the world. It is intended primarily for teachers who would like to transcend the daily routine work, still have a vivid professional curiosity, and keep coming up with new ideas to make their work more effective. It is also for researchers exploring the school world and professionals supporting teacher learning. It can be read as a novel or used as a handbook to find answers to questions often asked by those working to improve classroom practices, schools and national education systems.
