Freinet dictionary
Célestin Freinet began his teaching career a hundred years ago, during which time he developed a pedagogy that is still a source of inspiration today. For him, theory and practice were closely integrated. He considered it important to verify the pedagogical principles and experiences in his own practice, for which and with which he constantly improved his techniques (methods). It is no coincidence that Freinet pedagogy is still practised in more than forty countries around the world. Freinet pedagogy is alive and works. Everywhere where the autonomy of the individual is valued, his or her unrepeatable uniqueness, expressed in creative activity for the benefit of self and community. This dictionary not only helps to familiarise readers with Freinet pedagogy, but also supports the discovery of a network of inner connections for both old and newcomers.
